Southern Motorcycle Show Terms and Conditions for Entrants

 

General Information

Event Name: Southern Motorcycle Show

Date: 1st and 2nd February 2025

Location: Edgar Centre, Dunedin

Organisers:  Neville Auton and Mark Burrows, contact@southernmotorcycleshow.co.nz

 

Eligibility

Entrants must be 18 years or older, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.

All motorcycles must comply with safety and legal standards relevant to local laws if riding on public roads. Motorcycles trailered to event do not need to be road compliant. 

 

Registration

Entrants must complete the web-based registration form. https://southernmotorcycleshow.nz/get-involved/enter-your-bike

 

Categories and Judging

Entries can be categorised into different classes (e.g., Vintage, Custom, Touring, etc.). https://southernmotorcycleshow.nz/get-involved/enter-your-bike

Judging criteria and processes will be communicated prior to the event.

The decisions of the judges are final.

 

Conduct and Behaviour

All entrants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner.

Harassment, discrimination, or any form of disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification and removal from event.

 

Display and Setup

Entrants must arrive at the venue and set up within the specified time frame outlined by event organisers.

All bikes must be displayed in designated areas and in a manner that ensures safety for all attendees.

Entrants are responsible for the security of their personal belongings. 

 

Safety and Liability

Entrants are responsible for adhering to all safety guidelines provided by the event organisers.

The Southern Motorcycle Show organisers are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur while participating in the event.

Entrants must ensure that their motorcycles are in safe operating condition.

 

Photography and Media

By participating, entrants consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes.

Entrants grant the organisers the right to use these images in future promotional materials.

 

Cancellation and Amendments

The Southern Motorcycle Show organisers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances.

In the event of cancellation, all registered entrants will be notified as soon as possible.

The organisers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Entrants will be notified of significant changes.

 

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand.

 

Acceptance

By registering for the Southern Motorcycle Show, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
